It came like a “cultural bombshell” for a hundred employees in the German headquarters of an important media enterprise: the headquarters will be moved to the far end of Germany, there is the threat of being uprooted from one´s private and professional environment. And everybody has/is to move! But the management recognizes the unique opportunity and has the corporate culture analyzed in about 50 individual interviews, according to the maxim: Preserving good things and using the opportunity to finally put an end to antiquated habits. The analysis method was specifically designed for this company and standardized for the utilization time. A synopsis of the findings finally shows well-known facts, but also provides numerous surprises – particularly concerning the management culture of the company. Now it has been said…and a contract between all “business nomads” regulates the new beginning far away in an optimistic (almost euphoric) way.
